ABSTRACT
The author presents advice on using the Microsoft Excel 2007 spreadsheet program. Although Excel 2007 has been assailed on the Internet as being complicated, non-intuitive, and time-consuming, the author believes that the program's advanced functionality in comparison to its predecessor makes it well worth taking the time to learn. Diagrams are presented that illustrate several features introduced in Excel 2007. There is surely a learning curve involved, the author concedes, but with practice users will likely come to appreciate the program.
