The author discusses lessons he learned about running a business from his experience buying a new car. Neither the car salesman nor the business manager seemed organized or prepared. The dealership asked him if he could return to sign a form he already had. He believes his experience highlights the need for firms to better plan their business processes, and be more attentive to customer service.
