The article reports on the possible 6.8 earthquake magnitude or greater to affect the Hayward Fault in the eastern San Francisco Bay area. The author stated that more than five million people in six countries near the fault may be affected with the temblor and it may create more than $1.5 trillion worth of damage in property and contents.
