The article reports on a 150-crore Rupees (Rs) manufacturing plant at Vizag, India, being set up by Kanoria Chemicals & Industries. It states that the company is probably to raise funds overseas by debt instruments to finance the project partially. According to N. K. Nolkha, chief financial officer (CFO) of Kanoria, the company was also sending a team for evaluating feasibility for establishing an alkali and caustic soda manufacturing unit in Mozambique.
