ABSTRACT
The article reports that the speech of former U.S. Congressman J. C. Watts at Texas Christian University (TCU) focused on Senator Barack Obama's surprise popularity in the 2008 presidential race and the challenge to create change in Washington, D.C. He discussed issues including health care, education and the presidential race. He stated that Democratic establishments are having a difficult time dealing with Obama and added that it is going to be more challenging for Republicans to deal with him.
