ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the approach of several show car builders from Australia. Jason Pett's 1955 Sports Coupe in Canberra has a Commodore interior. When it came time to repower his two-door 1976 LX Torana, Perth's Dave Cleary went with an HSV 6.0-litre LS2 and a Vortech blower. A subtle approach was used by Scott McGeachie from the Hunter Valley, relying on good old-fashioned car craft.
