The article focuses on the services offered by Mantara and Marketcetera. Mantara and the Marketcetera are start-up companies offering technology-based trading platforms to high-speed, high-volume traders from buy and sell side companies. It cites applications developed by Mantara which allows the system to control trading from incoming data and the order from outgoing data. Also discussed is Marketcetera's open-source application that hedge funds can download and customize with the company's assistance.
