ABSTRACT
The article presents the views of several human resource (HR) professionals on the advantages of outsourcing. Kevin Bishop, group head of resourcing at mining firm Anglo American, says he is keeping a watching brief on outsourcing. James Kneller, HR director at Abbey, which outsources its recruitment to Hays, agrees that flexibility is an issue. Paul Harrison, vice-president of country HRM and partner engagement at Sun Microsystems, also argued in favour of partnership.
