ABSTRACT
The article compares two ferry routes for a trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland. On paper the Norfolk Line ferry from Birkenhead seemed the best way to go, especially travelling from London. Sadly this service was distinctly average. On the plus side, the dock is well signposted and easy to access from the M6 via the M56 and M53. Another ferry route to Belfast is the Stena Line ferry. Both routes failed to impress, although each offered good and bad features.
