ABSTRACT
The article presents an assessment of rotavirus vaccination coverage and adherence to the vaccination scheduled recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) in the U.S. Routine vaccination of infants with rotavirus vaccine is expected to be the most effective intervention for reducing the burden of rotavirus disease in children. The findings suggest that some infants are receiving their first dose of vaccine outside of the recommended schedule.
