ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the future of digital embroidery. Digital tools and software applications are being developed to facilitate both creative and production process smoothly with the goal to bring finished product quickly and easily. For example, SofTeam USA's Punto embroidery digitizing software allows the creation of multi-layered striations that might be difficult to embroider manually due to the density of the material. Moreover, all mediums that have a digital components are continually being developed leading to an emerging virtual dimension.
