ABSTRACT
A reprint of an article from the book "Muckrakers," by Ann Bausum is presented. In this article, Philip Cunningham writes that they are back in the states after 10 years in Asia, basically their first long visit since his Nieman year. He says that this is a pleasant interlude for the whole family that serves to give Xuhong and the kids a chance to see what life in the U.S., in centrally isolated Ithaca, New York, in any case, is all about.
