The article announces that the ace guitarist and falsetto vocalist of U2 band will appear at a May 31, 2008 celebrity auction at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York's Times Square for a campaign that will benefit musicians whose livelihoods were devastated by Hurricane Katrina and Rita in the Gulf Coast region. Edge has also been involved in the same event taken place last year, where he donated a 1975 Cream Gibson Les Paul guitar. The present Icons of Music 2008 will be promoted by Auction Network.
