ABSTRACT
The article reports on the 9.1% four-quarter average growth rate of EDA Consortium (EDAC) in 2007 which is lower than the 12.3% four-quarter average growth rate from the third quarter of 2007. There was a 6.7% increase in revenue for the electronic design automation (EDA) industry in the fourth quarter of 2007. The largest product category of EDA is computer aided engineering. The semiconductor intellectual property (SIP) revenue of the firm has dropped by 6.3%.
