ABSTRACT
The article features the medical device manufacturing facility of ATEK Medical in Heredia, Costa Rica. The facility is located in a free trade zone near the San Jose International Airport and will manufacture Class II single-use and electro-disposable device and Class III implantable device. ATEK Medical is a division of ATEK Companies which also include ATEK manufacturing, ATEK Plastics, ATEK Products and Progress Casting with facilities in Grand Rapids, Texas and Iowa.
