ABSTRACT
The article discusses the recruitment program of the U.S. Army. According to Major General Thomas P. Bostick, the monthly target recruits are inadequate. Some reasons for ineligibility are mentioned such as criminal records and low test score. It is stated that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq hinder families from encouraging young adults to apply.
