ABSTRACT
The article reports on the coating developed for optical fibers in installations requiring high temperature resistance. Acrylate coating made up of urethane acrylate oligomers and hexanediol diacylate diluent is recommended as a substitute to traditional materials like silicone and polyimides. The coating is said to withstand temperatures from 200-300 Celsius, has a fast curing property and is resistant to humidity changes.
