ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of the 2008 Direct Suppliers Away Day held at the Heart of England Conference Centre in Coventry, England. The annual event was attended by over 170 delegates, which is aimed at informing and supporting the Direct Co. suppliers in their bid to grow their business within the independent sector. David Domoney acted as the master of ceremonies and speakers included Direct managing director Paul Woolley, marketing head Sarah Golden and marketing executive Tracey Callaghan.
