Hardware & Garden Review;Apr2008, p4
The article reports on the opening of the own warehouse of hardware voluntary group Mica seven miles from its head office at Stone, Staffordshire in England. It is reported that the move was due to a worsening of Mica's relationship with Decco, which inherited the Mica contract when it previously purchased the Dompak delivered wholesale business from cash-and-carry firm Stax. Mica partnered with Palletways as its transport provider. Initial plans will focus on a combination of major brands and unbranded general products.
