ABSTRACT
The article discusses the effect of the Economic Stimulus Package of 2008, a $168 billion economic rescue package which includes rebates for taxpayers and tax breaks for businesses, on the green industry business in the U.S. The package allows a double increase of the amount of equipment expenditures a small business can expense or immediately write-off in its tax return in 2008. Furthermore, the stimulus package will be raising the limitations on luxury auto depreciation.
