ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Municipality of Pendik in Istanbul, Turkey uses STS Technology, a radio frequency identification systems (RFID) solutions provider, to manage its highly trafficked parking area which includes 1,000 municipality-owned vehicles. STS developed a complete RFID vehicle tracking solution for the municipality's parking lot and fleet of vehicles. Each gate of the lot is equipped with readers and circular antennas.
