ABSTRACT
The article reports on the preparation of China for the 2008 Olympics. The Chinese government spent billions of dollar to develop and improve infrastructures, including a gigantic stadium and transportation facilities. The government is also planning to close factories and limit the number of travelling cars to minimize pollution. Chinese are also being taught to queue patiently so as not to offend foreign visitors.
