The article offers suggestions on how to prepare for individual augmentee (IA) deployment by the U.S. Navy. It is reported that this type of deployment represents a significant culture shift for U.S. Navy. It is suggested that new IAs should bring helpful suggestions in a manner that can be heard. It is also suggested that new IAs should keep the family close and they should also have goals.
