ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the collaboration of the University of Lapland's Faculty of Art and Design, Rovaniemi Art Museum and the Provincial Library of Lapland to provide the public an Internet access on the exotic cultural heritage of Lapland and the Barents are in Europe. These three institutions worked together on three European Union-funded digitisation and archiving projects including Digmo, Digmore and eLibrary&Culture without Borders. The Digmo and Digmore projects focus on the collections of the region's museums and libraries while the eLibrary&culture without Borders is aimed at linking the cultural heritage of the Barents region and making it accessible to specialists, educational institutions and the public.
