ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the importance of securing small business networks and suggests some security software solutions. A business security solutions work in a way very similar to consumer suites. The computer is constantly monitored for virus and spyware; network traffic is firewalled; email is checked for spam; Windows Update is queried for the latest patches; web sites are checked for malware and so on. Some of the security software mentioned in the article include the Security Suite SBE 2.5 from Sophos and the Business Protection Suite from CA.
