It is indicated that the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association created a session for experts titled, Access to Product and Service Information: An Industry Perspective. Dave Scheer, president of Inland Truck Parts and Service, explains that the access-to-information issue occurs when an important technical information is needed to safely repair a truck.
