Hybrid electric order is Eaton's largest

The article reports that in 2008, 120 new trucks powered by Eaton Corporation's hybrid electric divertrain systems will be purchased by Coca-Cola Enterprises. Coca-Cola has conducted extensive testing and evaluations and found that Eaton's hybrid-electric drive-train equipped trucks decreased emissions by 32% and fuel consumption by up to 37% compared with conventionally powered trucks in Coca-Cola's current fleet. Lower maintenance cost on the hybrid-powered trucks was reported also by Coca-Cola.
