ABSTRACT
The article discusses the suicidal tendencies and mental illnesses in the western states of the U.S. There are lots of people who need help but it should be considered that it is something that the people aim to get rid of without considering their position. It is evident that one out of 17 residents is seriously mentally ill which includes bipolar disorder, major depression and schizophrenia. However, it is also stressed that the imperfection and shortcomings of the government in providing sufficient health care to the public is one of the factors on the continuous trend of mental illness. Other factors linked to suicide include the people's less devotion, alcohol and drug abuse, and very poor interpersonal relationship among family and society.
