Better HVAC Through Circuit Balancing

Hudson, David L.

Heating/Piping/Air Conditioning Engineering;Apr2008, Vol. 80 Issue 4, p38
The article discusses the advantage of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) circuit balancing. HVAC-system flows are dynamic, changing throughout a typical 24-hr period. The demand for heating and cooling varies not only throughout the day, but by building sector because of the climate. An effective HVAC system must provide correct energy output when and where required. Proper hydronic balancing is the key to make an HVAC system perform properly and most cost-effectively.
