ABSTRACT
The article reports that Open Virtual Platforms (OVP) was launched by the Imperas Ltd. to establish an open standard solution for developers to quickly and inexpensively simulate embedded software on system-on-chip (SoC) designs. It stated that the OVP Web site which is found at www.OVP-world.org serves as the portal for OVP with informations reagrding technology, discussion forums for the OVP community and links of all OVP components that can be downloaded. Furthermore, the site provides presentations, datasheets, videos, demonstrations, discussion forms and press information.
