ABSTRACT
The article reports that Blackstone Group Inc. has closed its real estate fund in an effort to seek for capitalization on market dislocation in the U.S. The real estate group has collected investments in several firms including Hilton Hotels, Trizec Properties, and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. According to Chad Pike, senior managing director of the real estate investment unit in London, the funds executed by Blackstone will expand its global investment activities.
