The article addresses the accomplishments of the American Rose Society in 2007-2008. The society has stabilized its financial status by increasing dues and going to a five magazines a year plus the annual format. The society has modified the Annual Slide Contest to include digital photographs. They received 1,500 entries for the contest. The society created the Glenda Whitaker Membership Award.
