ABSTRACT
The article presents a report featuring the development of the European Prison Education Association (EPEA) in Europe. It mentions that the EPEA was accepted as a member of the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA). The European Commission has adopted the Action Plan on Adult Learning, a program which aims to help remove the problems that prevent adults from engaging in learning activities, and to improve the quality and efficiency of the adult learning sector. EPEA also presents two books related to prison, including "European Prison Rules" and "Crime Policy in Europe."
