ABSTRACT
The article reports on the fire incident at the Namdaemun gate in Seoul, South Korea. The incident that destroyed the Great South Gate has been dealt by more than 100 firefighters. The gate is considered as the most historic site with the oldest wooden structure in the country. The man who started the fire has been arrested by the police the following day.
