ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the growing competition between computer software companies to make their software accessible on mobile phones. Microsoft Corp. has announced to introduce its Silverlight multimedia player to Nokia S60 phones running on Symbian operating system. Adobe System Inc. has also recently announced plans to port Flash Lite to the Windows Mobile carriers.
