ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the efforts of wireless communication companies to adopt environmental friendly measures. It informs that wireless industries are advocating about recycling cell phones. Mobile phone company Nokia offers postage-paid return labels for people for recycling phones regardless of the manufacturer. Ericsson Inc. says that the carbon-di-oxide emission of its radio access network has to be checked to make its infrastructure more energy-efficient.
