ABSTRACT
This article reports on the physical and mental benefits of relaxing in man-made salt caves. Salt caves are popular in Eastern Europe and are now being built at spas in the U.S. Salt breathing rooms are thought to relieve stress and ailments including allergies, asthma, and hypertension. The article also discusses several patients who visit caves for allergies and lung irritations.
