Deutsche Bibliotheksstatistik (DBS): Datenerfassung hat begonnen

The article reports that the Deutsche Bibliotheksstatistik (DBS; German Library Statistics) has started collecting and processing data with regard to library inventory, expenditures, lending, finances, and personnel. Data entry for the year 2007 started on January 2, 2008 and all German libraries are required to report their statistics to the DBS.
