ABSTRACT
The article discusses the effort of the members of the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) to make initiatives for the people to gain recognition about PVA in the U.S. One main effort is the celebration of the PVA Awareness Week on April 13 to 19, 2008 in which members will address students and reach newspaper readers and television (TV) and radio audiences. The author also emphasizes that PVA has 34 chapters, 51 services offices and two periodicals including "PN" and "SPORTS 'N Spokes."
