Dish Network Corp. won large amount of spectrum in the auction and Cox Communications Inc. emerged as the largest winning cable entity. The auction generated a net $19.1 billion in total bids. Moreover, the FFC declined to ban cable and phone companies from bidding in the 700-MHz auction.
