ABSTRACT
The article discusses a study which performed a spectral emission scan of Quantum dot (Qdot) 655 with the Synergy 4 multi-mode microplate reader from BioTek Istruments using an excitation wavelength of 340 nanometer (nm). It was found that the nanocrystals have a peak emission wavelength of 655 nm and the peak wavelength was then used to monitor fluorescence generated from an excitation wavelength scan.
