ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the use of MAX1771 EVkit with Class D amplifier in producing a huge audio volume for battery-operated systems. This switched-mode boost converter generated by two AA cells power Class D audio amplifier can sustain as long as four hours in a digital audio and can offer uninterrupted audio in an automobile. The scheme will also eliminate the use of bulky battery packs, as well as operates with 12 volt and delivers 6 watts power output. Rear-set applications can also gain from the use of MAX1771 EVkit.
