ABSTRACT
The article reports on the alleged plan of Cablevision Systems Corp. to purchase a stake in concert promoter AEG Live. It was reported that Cablevision is to spend as much as $150 million for 35 percent of AEG, with IAC/InterActive Corp's Ticketmaster online ticketing unit contributing $50 million for a 14 percent stake. However, things reportedly went sour when Cablevision and AEG could not agree on control and strategy.
