The article focuses on the acumen of leaders in people and business. Leadership is reportedly the ability to get people to do things and to get more things done through delegation and follow-through. Most leaders are shown to make use of key performance indicators that measure progress in quantitative terms such as the percentage of customer calls answered in the first minute. Every leader having the knowledge of how the business makes money through profit and loss management is also stated.
