Reports that a consortium of industry training authorities have launched a distance-learning study program to help people achieve the Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQ) in Events Management. Date the SVQ was launched along with Event 2000, the study program; Importance of SVQ and the program according to Caroline Horrigan, chief executive of the Travel, Tourism and Events National Training Organisation.
