ABSTRACT
The article reports on the economic condition of Thailand as of 2007-2008. The country's economy expanded by a faster-than-expected 4.8% in 2007, due to the country's resilient export sector. However, with the ongoing downturn in the US economy, combined with a strong baht, exports will not be able to remain supportive of growth over the coming year.
