ABSTRACT
The article discusses the effectiveness of the retail-store approach employed by Texas-based heavy-duty truck accessories manufacturer Ranch Hand Truck Accessories, particularly at its retail outlet in Houston. The Houston outlet has the largest volume among the retail outlets of Ranch Hand. Store manager Carl Sawyer says that they add about 10 to 15 new part offerings every year. The manufacturer plans to improve manufacturing in the Shiner plant in August 2008.
