The article reports on the launch of a program to fast-track people from black and minority ethnic (BME) groups into management positions in the British museums sector. The program, which is part of the Museums Association's Diversify scheme, will see two individuals go through 18-month management traineeships, one at the London Transport Museum and the other at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton. The association said that only 3 percent of managers in the sector were from BME backgrounds.
