ABSTRACT
The article reports that furniture importer Collezione Europa has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the U.S. According to the company, its sales declined from about $120 million in 2004 to $74 million in 2007 due to the bankruptcies of its two key customers, Rhodes Furniture and Levitz. The company adds that it had a net loss of about $7 million in 2006 and owed more than $5.2 million to its largest unsecured creditors.
