ABSTRACT
The article reports that the European Broadcasting Union (EBU)/Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) Task Force on Timing & Synchronization is on the completion of the standardisation process in Europe. The Task Force hopes to issue a formal Request for Technology before the end of March 2008 and the full standardisation process will be implemented in summer 2008. Hans Hoffman of Task Force revealed that the Task Force has made remarkable progress on the subscription.
